Transport Security – utecture uses SSL for all interactions with the system, Traffic is not allowed from an unsecured connection, and any request that comes from a non-SSL connection is immediately redirected to an SSL connection to ensure connections are always secured.
Authentication – All interactions with the utecure system must be authenticated. Passwords are stored using industry best practices of a one-way salted nash function. Sessions expire after a predetermined time out, and accounts are deactivated after a set period of inactivity. Industry standard practices for password reset, and user lockout are also supported.
Authorisation – utecure implements a comprehensive roles-based authorisation approach to control access to all parts of the system. Administrators can assign users to the appropriate role for the level of access, and new roles can be created when required. All accesses to the system are audited so a complete trail of who did what is recorded. Further information on utecture security guidance is available on request.

Pricing can be updated in several ways depending on the supplier format they use to provide you with pricing i.e. excel. The pricing updates can be done with a minimum of time and effort. All training is provided through our comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS).

Yes, utecture provides several forms of documentation from costing through too Floor plans, Elevation, and contract documentation all automatically produced and Live.

You can submit early concept plans or fully detailed construction drawings. The more detail your plans have the more accurate your estimate will be, based off your specifications.

Due to the pre-built algorithms of utecture and the digital twin model, working in the background, importing into utecture is restricted.
We can export an IFC model of your model out of utecture for you to use or overlay into your architectural software.

A range of suppliers have also jump onboard to have their products added to utecture Trade & Trade Plus, all are added to utecture to measure as per NZ 3604, product specifications & industry-benchmarked* labour rates.

Updating to your own pricing only takes a couple of clicks. You can easily replace the generic rates with your company’s pricing, and with a little further training, you’ll be able to start adding your own suppliers and pricing directly into your environment for even more control.
